This week in Year 1 we have planted cress and broad beans. We have put the pots on the window sill and are watering them everyday!

We have been learning about the artist Piet Mondrian and looking at some of his abstract paintings. We have noticed that he used red, blue and yellow and we have been mixing these primary colours to make new colours. We have also made different tones of colour and used these to paint the background of our own seasons painting. We will finish these next week.
