During National Storytelling Week, Year 3 enjoyed listening to the story of Rumpelstiltskin. We then retold the story out loud, drew it as a story mountain, and summarised the setting, characters, beginning, middle and end on a 5-finger drawing. We also listened to a story called ‘The Forest’ and drew our own story maps!

We have also started our STEAM projects which link to National Storytelling Week. We have made up our owns stories on a storyboard, which will be turned into a shadow puppet show!
