In this week’s STEAM Engineering Academy, we made some simple pulley systems. The more pulleys we added, the easier it was to lift the load. Then, we made a winch system, a compound machine which includes several simple mechanisms in one! It was fun seeing how we could improve our designs to make them more efficient.
