Year 4 took part in an experiential RE lesson today and learnt about Diwali and how/why it is celebrated. They really enjoyed their learning and were able to recall lots of brilliant information at the end of the lesson.

In Science, Year 4 have been observing solids, liquids and gasses in action! When they put raisins in lemonade, they observed the Carbon Dioxide bubbles attach to the raisins causing them to float! #wearescientists
This week Year 4 had their parent/carer workshop which involved children setting up a science experiment observing changes of state. They observed chocolate melting and made predictions which would melt the fastest. They also used Stop Motion app to show the particle structures.
Year 4 have completed some fantastic Christmas themed writing. We watched the Excitable Edgar Christmas advert and had a go at writing diary entries in the role of Edgar. We then made a book to show off all of our brilliant writing.
