Cricket Club News

Congratulations to the members of our Cricket Club, who took part in an inter-school competition this week. They finished fourth (out of 7 schools), missing third place by just 5 runs.

Tag Rugby

Congratulations to our mixed tag-rugby team (Baran, Corey, Essa, Fatima, Olly, Rafay, Saoirse, Sophie), who were excellent ambassadors for our school at a tag-rugby festival organised by Kings Norton Rhinos on Tuesday 20th June. 11 teams representing 9 local primary schools came together in a friendly atmosphere at Hopwood Park, where the intent was to introduce the game to a new audience and have fun.
Particular mention must go to Olly, who impressed us with his leadership skills, and Sophie, who was our star performer. Well done everyone!

You may have noticed our air quality monitor in school – we are pleased to say it is usually green! It is Clean Air Day on 15 June, so, where you can, please walk or wheel to school to make our community even better and cleaner! Let’s all support Clean Air Day!

Choirmaker Big Sing Celebration

A group of children from our senior choir visited Symphony Hall to take part in the Choirmaker Big Sing Celebration this week organised by Ex Cathedra. They had a wonderful time singing their hearts out to a variety of new songs they learned on the day. It serves as a great reminder about the importance of music and singing to our mental well-being. We all left Symphony Hall feeling calm, content and fulfilled.
