It was wonderful to see the children kick starting Anti-Bullying Week on Monday by wearing odd socks to celebrate being unique. The children enjoyed Andy and the Odd Socks’ new song too. https://anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/anti-bullying-week/odd-socks-day/what-odd-socks-day

On Wednesday, the children all took part in our assembly. It focused on the theme of ‘Reach Out’ and linked with the lessons that the children have done in their classes about knowing how important it is to look after each other and reach out for help if they are feeling hurt or upset, if they see someone who is hurt or upset or if they make a mistake and hurt or upset someone. There is extra information about this on the Anti-Bullying Alliance website. https://anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/anti-bullying-week/parents-and-carers

Pizza & Beats -What a Night!

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Pizza & Beats event. The band ‘Lazy Raven’ was awesome and the pizzas were so delicious. The Senior Leadership Team, Friends of Raddlebarn Committee and Volunteers had a fantastic time hosting and we raised an impressive £588 for the Friends of Raddlebarn charity.
Thank you to local businesses

Football News!

On Tuesday 8th, Raddlebarn played St. Mary’s at football in the local schools’ cup. A close first half saw St. Mary’s edge ahead by a single goal. Despite a spirited second half display by the Raddlebarn team, St. Mary’s extended their lead, but we were proud of our boys who kept going and played in a positive manner.
