Year 1 have had a week filled with learning about coins and paper money. We compared values and properties and practised addition and giving change. We have started comparing the UK and India in Geography and have linked our learning to a story text set in Kerala in our English lessons.

We have been practising team events in readiness for Sports Day.

We were excited to welcome author Jodie Lancet-Grant to our afternoon Reception and Key Stage 1 assembly on Friday – we became pirates for an hour!
