As part of National storytelling week,  Year 1 have been making the Three Little Pigs’ houses in science. Then, each table had a different type of material in which to construct a roof. The children predicted the suitability of their material, based on their knowledge of materials learned to date. We were testing how waterproof or absorbent each material was.
