Year 3 have been closely observing the parts of a lily to support with their understanding of pollination and fertilisation within flower life cycles. They could clearly see the pollen on the anther, and the stigma on which the pollen is transferred by insects. We have now finished our plants unit and are diving into the world of light and dark!
