The Sharing the Light Parade, which has been put together by our Festivals Team, will be taking place in Birmingham City Centre and the Bullring this Friday and Saturday. Anyone is welcome to join and enjoy the parade.
On Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd at 6.30pm, around sunset, a parade of lights will make its way through the city centre, stopping for a celebratory dance from Sonia Sabri Dance Company and welcoming Dundu’s Giant Light Puppets to Birmingham.
As part of this, there is audience participation involved and Sonia Sabri has filmed a video of the dance chorography which can be viewed here.
